Ice Blink and Water Sky

White glare surrounded by dark cloud   Ice blink and water sky are optical phenomena that occur in regions with large areas of ice and lying clouds so it's usually on the northern and southern area of earth, in Antarctica and Arctic. Both of these phenomena are related to each other. Ice blink refers to a white glare seen on the underside of low clouds that indicates a patch of snow or ice below, while water sky is  a dark patch on the underside of lighter clouds indicating an open water area in a frozen sea. How do these phenomena form?  They form when light from the cut through a cloudy sky. The light will be continually reflected back and forth between the clouds and the surface of earth. Since open water absorbs more light than ice-covered surface, clouds above open water remain dark, while the light reflected by ice-covered surface creates bright clouds above it. My Chairmate, Fitya

On this entry, I will be telling you about my chairmate, Fitya's weaknesses, strengths, and dreams. First of all, her full name is Fitya Devindra Adara. She was born in Bandung on 22nd of November 2001. Currently, she is 17 years old. She has one older sister named Wita who's still studying in college. She loves reading books, especially novel because it relaxes her mind. She also love travelling. She thinks it opens our mind to expand our perspectives. She describes herself as someone who's not really a confident person. She said she couldn't talk in front of many people but I think she always has good performance whenever we had to presentate in from of the class. Helen Keller

Hi!  Now I'm going to talk about Helen Keller.  Helen Keller was a  an American author, political activist, and lecturer who overcame  the adversity of being blind and deaf to become one of the 20th century's most influential people, as well as founder of Hellen Keller International (HKI) organization. Helen Adams Keller was born on June 27th, 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. She  was the first of two daughters born to Arthur Keller and Katherine Adams Keller. She  was born with  the ability to see and hear  and started speaking when she was just 6 months old. H owever, at 19 months old,  she lost both her sight and hearing because of the  an illness—called "brain fever" by the family doctor— some experts believe it might have been  scarlet fever or meningitis. Since then, Keller's teacher, Anne Sullivan , taught Helen to communicate by spelling words into her hand.    In 1890, Helen began speech classes...
