WHO is looking for competent researchers and institutions to send their proposals of the H5N1 Avian Influenza virus research in the areas studies of disease ecology, transmission, and epidemiolog and studies of clinical spectrum and management of disease. The best proposal will be rewarded with awards.

Get to Know Me

Hello peeps! It's me, Yasmine Aliyah Garinanda or just call me Yasmine in short. But I prefer to be called Mine. I was born on 13th of July 2002 in Bandung. I am the eldest child in the family but I still act like a little child. I look as childish as I act and I have a small build (r:body) so sometimes people mistook me as a junior high school student. If you lose me in a crowd, just look for the shortest girl because that must be me.  My voice is not really loud and I talk slowly or softly so please always be all ears on me. Helen Keller

Hi!  Now I'm going to talk about Helen Keller.  Helen Keller was a  an American author, political activist, and lecturer who overcame  the adversity of being blind and deaf to become one of the 20th century's most influential people, as well as founder of Hellen Keller International (HKI) organization. Helen Adams Keller was born on June 27th, 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. She  was the first of two daughters born to Arthur Keller and Katherine Adams Keller. She  was born with  the ability to see and hear  and started speaking when she was just 6 months old. H owever, at 19 months old,  she lost both her sight and hearing because of the  an illness—called "brain fever" by the family doctor— some experts believe it might have been  scarlet fever or meningitis. Since then, Keller's teacher, Anne Sullivan , taught Helen to communicate by spelling words into her hand.    In 1890, Helen began speech classes...
