In this entry, my friend, Fitya and I will tell you about ArtScience Museum Singapore.


ArtScience Museum is one of the most popular museum in Singapore. As the name suggests, ArtScience Museum beautifully fuses art and science to tell fascinating stories.

The Museum that is located in Marina Bay Sands Singapore has an iconic design architecture. The museum’s structure is meant to symbolise the welcoming hand of Singapore with 10 fingers. The tip of each “finger” filters in natural light to showcase exhibits in the best light. There are 21 galleries spread over three storeys with a total floor space of about 50,000 sq ft. The most popular gallery is Future World.

Hello! It's been a long time since the last time I posted something on this blog. Now, I'd like to show you the dialogue of offers and suggestions about school immersion that I made with my friend, Dara. Let's check it out! Yasmine: "Hi, Dara!" Dara: "Hi, Min!" Yasmine: "It's near to the end of the semester, are you ready for Bali?" Dara: "Wait, what's with Bali?" Yasmine: "We're going to go there for school immersion. I'm so excited, i can't wait Dara: "Really??? That's great! We should visit Pandawa beach, it's the best beach i know." Yasmine: "Is it? Why don't we look it up on the internet?" Dara: "Sure, let's go! You can use my phone if you want to." Yasmine: "Thanks!" Dara: "We should look for other destinations there." Yasmine: "That's a good idea!"

Ice Blink and Water Sky

White glare surrounded by dark cloud   Ice blink and water sky are optical phenomena that occur in regions with large areas of ice and lying clouds so it's usually on the northern and southern area of earth, in Antarctica and Arctic. Both of these phenomena are related to each other. Ice blink refers to a white glare seen on the underside of low clouds that indicates a patch of snow or ice below, while water sky is  a dark patch on the underside of lighter clouds indicating an open water area in a frozen sea. How do these phenomena form?  They form when light from the cut through a cloudy sky. The light will be continually reflected back and forth between the clouds and the surface of earth. Since open water absorbs more light than ice-covered surface, clouds above open water remain dark, while the light reflected by ice-covered surface creates bright clouds above it.
