I am writing a letter on behalf of Fitya Devindra Adara, a student at SMAN 3 Bandung. I would like to recommend her for your scholarship program for Biomedical Engineering ITB. I have been her teacher for three years and she is an outstading student.

Fitya is a hardworker student that always do the best in working on projects at class. She always do her assignments diligently and excells in academic, especially in science and mathematic subjects. She maintain to have the best grades for tests and daily scores. Her grade at the last semester was one of the highest in her class and she has been on the highest ranks since she was in junior highschool.

Moreover, she is interested in helping her friends and made sure that they understood the lessons at class. And I'm impressed that she also actives at extracullicular at school. One of the extracullicular that she attends is the Badminton Club that have their practices every saturday. She also competed in an Angklung competition with KPA at 10th grade. Beside that, she also has taken part in some school events like the closing of MTPAI (Islamic education mentoring).

So, please accept my reccomendation to award the scholarship to Fitya Devindra Adara and help her get to the university that she has been dreaming of.

What will you do on holiday?

Achmad :  "Hi guys! how are you today?" Dara       :  "I'm good!" Yasmine :  " Hi! Don't you realize it's a week left to our holiday?" Dara       :  "That's right! Do you have any plan?" Achmad :  "I think i'm going to the unicorn ice cream store because it has a different theme from the                      other store or going to savanna in Africa. It would be cool!" Yasmine :  "That sounds interesting! I've never heard that kind of store. Where is it?" Achmad :  "You haven't been there? Dara has been there twice!" Dara       :  "Yeah, it's near our school. How about you min? Do you have any plan? Yasmine :  "I think i'm going to have a vacation in some island around Papua. Raja Ampat. But,                              Unicorn Ice Cream Store sounds exciting. I think I'll visit it too." Achmad :  "By the way... what about yours Dara?"

Ice Blink and Water Sky

White glare surrounded by dark cloud   Ice blink and water sky are optical phenomena that occur in regions with large areas of ice and lying clouds so it's usually on the northern and southern area of earth, in Antarctica and Arctic. Both of these phenomena are related to each other. Ice blink refers to a white glare seen on the underside of low clouds that indicates a patch of snow or ice below, while water sky is  a dark patch on the underside of lighter clouds indicating an open water area in a frozen sea. How do these phenomena form?  They form when light from the cut through a cloudy sky. The light will be continually reflected back and forth between the clouds and the surface of earth. Since open water absorbs more light than ice-covered surface, clouds above open water remain dark, while the light reflected by ice-covered surface creates bright clouds above it.
